2030 Goals and Strategy for Yarl IT Hub Community
Based on the inputs provided by the community as a response to this call, Yarl IT Hub has come up with a set of goals to be achieved by 2030.
To achieve these goals, Yarl IT Hub has developed a ten-point strategy that will help accelerate the achievement of these goals.
The first point of this strategy is to set up a permanent presence in all five districts of the Northern Province. This will help to ensure that people in all areas of the province have access to the resources and opportunities that Yarl IT Hub provides.
The second point of the strategy is to establish a dedicated marketing team. This team will be responsible for promoting Yarl IT Hub’s initiatives and programs to a wider audience. By doing so, it will help inspire more people to take to Entrepreneurship, innovation and technology ecosystems.
The third point of the strategy is to implement a digital platform for community engagement. This platform will provide a space for the community to share ideas, collaborate and connect with each other. By creating this platform, Yarl IT Hub hopes to foster a sense of community and encourage more people to get involved in technology and entrepreneurship.
The fourth point of the strategy is to help establish and execute entrepreneurship clubs at schools. By doing so, Yarl IT Hub hopes to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators. These clubs will provide students with a space to learn about entrepreneurship, develop their skills and provide an opportunity to hands-on practice some of these skills.
The fifth point of the strategy is to carry out activities to enable market access to start-ups from the community. This will help to ensure that entrepreneurs have access to the resources and networks they need to succeed. By doing so, Yarl IT Hub hopes to support a more vibrant and sustainable start-up ecosystem.
The sixth point of the strategy is to execute a yearly summer internship program for diaspora youth. By doing so, Yarl IT Hub hopes to attract young talent from the diaspora and provide them with opportunities to connect to their roots and get exposure to the budding ecosystem and hopefully create a lifelong connection.
The seventh point of the strategy is to have a focused effort to help entrepreneurs from the community build high valuation global businesses.
The eighth point of the strategy is to collaborate with global accelerators. By doing so, Yarl IT Hub hopes to leverage the expertise and resources of global organizations to accelerate the growth of start-ups in the community.
The ninth point of the strategy is to launch more specializations and centers of Uki, the technology school. By doing so, Yarl IT Hub hopes to expand the opportunities for people in the community to gain the skills and knowledge they need to enter and succeed in the industry.
The tenth and final point of the strategy is to continue and scale all the successful programs that Yarl IT Hub has launched in the past. By doing so, Yarl IT Hub hopes to build on the momentum it has already created and achieve even greater success in the future.
